What training do you need?

The entry route includes Handle Security Incidents and Services, Provide Guard and Patrol Services, Recognise Terrorist Threats, and Operate Basic Security Equipment. Course packaging and assessment arrangements vary. Confirm that the selected provider covers all competencies required for your deployment.

How much do security officers earn in Singapore?

SGD 3,090.00 / month

For 2026, the covered full-time outsourced security officer grade has a minimum basic wage of S$3,090 per month for 35–44 hours per week. The in-house security officer floor is separately defined at S$2,475 gross per month, excluding overtime. These are Progressive Wage Model floors for covered Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Check the grade, employer category and hours when comparing an offer.
