Privacy and your learning data
The Get Licensed global platform is operated by Get Licenced LLC. This notice explains how Get Licenced LLC uses information for learning, training enquiries, provider services, job listings, worker profiles and applications. The worker privacy notice explains profile fields, employer sharing, withdrawal, deletion, retention and international storage.
Your country choice
When you open the main website address, we use your network address to estimate your country and open its local page. The country lookup runs within our hosting service, without sending your address to a location service or saving it to our application database. Direct links to country pages and the global country selector remain available. When you choose a country from the selector, an essential first-party cookie remembers that choice for up to 180 days and takes priority on future visits. Clear the cookie in your browser or choose another country to change it.
Learning progress
Before you start a free foundation course, we ask for your first name to identify your private learning record. We store the name, the enrolment notice version and date, and your most recent saved course or foundation-practice activity. An existing record with a saved name lets you continue without entering it again. Authorised Get Licensed administrators can see the first name with the selected course country, enrolment date and progress. The name is excluded from analytics event payloads and page addresses. Starting a free course creates no email or telephone marketing subscription.
When you start a course or handbook practice session, an essential first-party cookie identifies your browser learning record. The service stores your selected country and state, province or other jurisdiction where applicable, quiz scores, attempts and lesson completion. Practice records also include the handbook language, edition and content version, the questions shown, your selected answers and review marks, start and finish times, any timer deadline and feedback by topic. These records support saved sessions, revision suggestions and aggregate learning reports. The cookie lasts up to one year. Clearing it removes this browser’s access to its saved record.
Your first name and its enrolment notice fields are automatically cleared from the active database after 12 months without saved course or foundation-practice activity, during the next hourly maintenance run. Existing learning progress stays associated with its browser record. Database backups follow the existing 30-day snapshot window; the same name-expiry check runs after restoration. Clearing or expiring a browser cookie changes access to the record and does not erase stored information.
Use Download your learning record in the browser where you started to obtain your saved information and reference. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact the Get Licensed contact service with that reference. Keep the reference before clearing the learning cookie. The team may need to verify that the record belongs to you.
Usage measurement
The service records browser-reported page views, guide downloads, course activity, provider link clicks, training assistant opens, chat and voice start attempts, and assistant enquiry and telephone-link clicks. Reports include the country, state or Canadian province/territory where applicable, page, time, referral source and campaign label. If you allow analytics, a first-party session cookie retains the referral source and campaign as you move between pages. It contains those labels and expires with the browser session. Without that permission, campaign labels can remain in memory while the current page is open. Page views are counts of loads. Course starts are counted once per browser learning record and country or US state. Staff activity is excluded from standard reports.
Google Analytics and your choice
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits to public pages on www.get-licenced.com, referral sources, engagement and actions such as successful training enquiries. It uses cookies and sends technical information, including your network address and browser details, to Google. Google uses network information to derive approximate visitor location. Reports also identify the training or work country being explored, the state or Canadian region where available, and the page language. These selected markets can differ from the visitor’s location.
The Google tag loads after you choose Allow analytics. You can decline and continue using the website, or change your choice using Privacy choices in the footer. Your preference lasts up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after up to 180 days; a new consent or browser settings can change their availability. Withdrawing permission removes this site’s analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded Google tag. Advertising consent and Google signals are disabled. We exclude signed-in administrators, private account pages and preview hosts from this tag.
We send controlled page paths and event labels. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, enquiry text, account identifiers, URL queries and URL fragments are excluded from the events we configure. Google provides its own information about how it uses information from sites that use its services and its privacy practices, including international processing.
Optional training videos and external reviews
Our video library uses English-language videos from the Get Licensed YouTube channel. No YouTube player, thumbnail or Google video request loads until you choose Load video from YouTube. That action connects to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player and shares your IP address, browser information and this page’s origin with Google. YouTube may use browser storage when you interact. This choice applies to that player and is separate from analytics permission. Close video removes the player and stops playback; existing third-party storage can be managed in your browser. The UK reviews panel loads a live Trustpilot widget only when you select its load button. This connects your browser to Trustpilot, which receives technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the referring site and may use browser storage under its own privacy notice. This choice is separate from Google Analytics permission. Closing the panel removes the widget; any storage already created is controlled through your browser. The panel and the external review link show reviews of the existing Get Licensed UK service.
Training requests
If you submit a request, we store your name, email, optional phone number, selected country, state or Canadian province/territory where applicable, city or local area, message where provided and consent. Get Licensed receives these requests for general training information and uses the details to review and respond. New requests are held by Get Licensed without assignment to a listed training provider. A later provider introduction requires your agreement to that specific introduction. Submit only the details needed for your question; send identity documents and sensitive application information directly to the official application service.
Training providers and introductions
Provider applications store business and contact details, country and local coverage, course information and the applicant’s consent. The US provider workspaces use the business email verified by the Get Licensed team. Approved providers can submit course updates. An active provider receives learner contact details only after Get Licensed records that learner’s agreement to an introduction to that named provider. The service records lead outcomes, agreed fees and manual billing status. Internal review notes stay with administrators.
Job vacancies and employers
Job submissions store the employer and vacancy details, posting contact, declarations and review status. Approved job details, salary and employer website are public on launch; posting contact names and emails stay with the review team. Signed-in submissions are linked to their posting account. Available management controls follow the job market. Guest and older submissions should retain their reference and contact Get Licensed for changes. Country job-page views are measured. US job pages also measure individual views and application-link clicks. External application links take you to the employer’s website under its privacy terms. Where profile applications are available, you review and submit a private application to the named employer inside this platform. The worker notice describes that process.
AI job-description drafts
When AI drafting is available and an employer selects Generate with AI, the public vacancy facts entered in the form are sent to Anthropic: the employer and role, work location, pay, hours, shifts, duties, requirements and benefits. Private posting-contact fields are excluded. The generated description stays as a preview until the employer chooses to insert it and submit the vacancy for review. AI generation alone creates no job listing. The Build from details option formats the entered facts within your browser.
Provider accounts, business claims and course dates
Provider accounts store the contact name, email, optional phone number, business website, selected country and teaching regions, evidence of authority to represent the business, claim review history and commercial agreement acceptance. Course and date drafts stay within the account and the Get Licensed administration workspace. Published business names, websites, course descriptions, prerequisites, prices, dates and venue details appear publicly. Ownership evidence, account email, private notes and financial configuration stay private.
Business verification confirms authority to manage a listing. Course approval statements come from the provider and should be checked against the relevant awarding organisation or regulator. Existing public directory entries use the sources linked on each page. Account creation and claiming a business create no marketing subscription. Use the contact service below to request correction or closure of a provider account.
Course bookings and payments
Where checkout is enabled, we record the buyer account, course and date snapshot, quantity, currency, price, agreed commission, accepted terms and payment or refund status. The responsible training provider receives learner contact information for confirmed bookings so it can deliver the course and respond to booking questions. Booking contacts may only be used for course delivery and related administration unless a separate marketing permission applies.
Stripe hosts payment collection and provider account connection. We store account and transaction references and connection status. Card numbers and banking credentials are handled by Stripe. Booking confirmations and changes are operational messages; optional marketing has its own audience controls. Payment and email features remain unavailable until configured. Booking, payment, agreement and audit records are retained for fulfilment, accounting, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Requests for access, correction or deletion are assessed against those obligations.
International provider review
International applications and vacancies are reviewed by the Get Licensed team. Submitted contact details and internal notes remain private. Approved course and job fields can appear on the relevant country pages. A submission creates no paid arrangement. Singapore training enquiries currently go directly to providers. The existing UK website operates its own journeys and privacy notice.
AI chat, voice and telephone conversations
When you choose to start AI chat or voice, the site loads the ElevenLabs conversation service. ElevenLabs processes your typed messages, conversation and, for voice, your audio under the configured agent service. The website provides the selected state and lesson title in the opening message. A telephone call uses the connected telephone service and asks for your state. Conversation history and audio retention follow the ElevenLabs workspace settings. This site stores aggregate assistant activity events; it does not copy chat transcripts or recordings into the learner database. Review ElevenLabs’ privacy policy before starting a conversation. You can use all written guides without starting a conversation.
Access and security
Learning records and requests are stored in the application’s hosted database. Administrator access requires a permitted account. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers help limit abusive requests; raw network addresses are not written to the application database. Hosting and connected services may maintain their own operational logs.
Accounts
Learner, worker, provider and employer accounts store your name, email, account purpose, acknowledged notice versions and a salted password hash. An essential sign-in cookie lasts up to seven days. Provider and administrator invitations are single-use and expire after 24 hours. The team verifies identity before granting access or arranging account recovery. Changing your password signs out other sessions.
Your choices
Stop a voice conversation at any time and control microphone permission in your browser. You can clear the learning cookie in browser settings. For access, correction or deletion of a training request, contact Get Licensed through the main contact service and include your request reference. Retain your reference so the team can identify the relevant record.
