Your state entry route
Alaska DPS licenses individual security guards and security guard agencies. Start the employee application with your hiring agency and confirm eligibility for the assignment.
Plan for eight hours before applying, 40 hours of in-service training within 180 days of employment, and an annual eight-hour refresher under 13 AAC 60.110.
