How to use the guides

Follow the local checklist and open the official sources before applying or paying for training. The exact work location, employer, role and your circumstances can change the route. Guides show their review dates, relevant authorities and remaining confirmation points. Licensing guidance does not establish immigration or work eligibility.

Local entry guides bring together researched route, training and pay information. Official starting-point guides identify remaining coverage gaps. Countries under research have an enquiry route and general preparation; local requirements and salary figures appear after they have been checked.

Free online preparation

Eight shared lessons cover observation, communication, reporting and other everyday workplace skills. Original scenarios and knowledge checks help you practise. The US course also includes a state primer and practice assessment. Required training, screening, registration and permission to work follow the rules for your location. Recorded completion describes progress through this preparation material.

Provider information

Directory examples link to the provider or an official source. Confirm current course approval, price, availability and terms with the provider. A confirmed commercial relationship requires a separate agreement. International provider applications are reviewed before publication. Singapore training enquiries currently go directly to providers.

Salary evidence

Every pay figure keeps its currency, time period, geographic scope and statistical basis. Occupational medians, advertised ranges and statutory or collective-agreement floors are labelled separately. Dates and source links explain what each figure describes. US state figures use BLS May 2025 Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, published through O*NET, for Security Guards (SOC 33-9032).

Course prices and approval

Published course fees and durations retain their sources and scope. Missing, dated or eligibility-dependent prices require a current quote. Local-only courses, optional preparation and unavailable intake dates are identified. A regulator-list match is described only when the research established one.
