The Security Guard Training Class is designed for individuals who want to obtain a Guard Card, which is required to work as a licensed security officer in most states. This training provides essential knowledge on security procedures, legal responsibilities, and emergency response.

This state-mandated 8-hour course is required for licensed Connecticut security officers seeking to carry a firearm while on duty. Commonly known as the "Blue Card" course, it provides essential training in firearms safety, Connecticut laws governing the use of force, and proper handling of handguns in a professional security setting.

This preparatory course is designed to equip prospective armed security officers in Connecticut with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to successfully complete the Connecticut Armed Security Officer Endorsement Course (commonly known as the “Blue Card” course).

The CT Armed Guard Requalification Course is a mandatory annual training for security officers who hold a Connecticut Blue Card (Armed Security Officer Firearms Endorsement). This course ensures armed guards remain compliant with state regulations and demonstrate continued proficiency in firearm handling and use-of-force protocols.
